March has Marched On

As the last day of March I've been thinking about how glad I am that it is OVER!!!!!!!! Here's a quick recap.

March 1st - Trace (2 year old) had stitches by his ear being removed
March 4th - Coordinated a wedding (it was lovely just quite a bit of work)
March 6th - Brittney broke her leg (8 months pregnant)
March 9th - Randy and I flew to Texas with Trace & AC (3 years old) - met Nyki and drove 7 hours with her and Rylee (1 year old) actually that was really fun!
March 10th - Shawn graduated from Police Academy (proud of him - scared to death for him)
March 9th - 15th got some good visit time with the Texas family - never seems long enough!
March 14th - Boss called me in Texas to let me know that Friday the 17th would be his last day Had a Birthday Party for my daddy (who's birthday was on the 15th)
March 15th - Left around 5 to drive to DFW which was 8 hours away for a flight home. Trace & I took a direct flight and AC and Grandpa (Randy) flew to Miami and then to Tampa (that's what happens when your using frequent flyer miles). I'm just glad that Brittney's boys are such good travelers! They're so good and seem to enjoy flying.
March 17th - Had to say goodbye to the bestest boss I've ever had! Haven't decided if I will stay for a while or start job hunting - I guess I'll wait and see how the new boss works out.
March 19th - Randy flew to San Francisco for a training class for a week.
March 21st - Took Britt to the doctor and found out Baby could come any time - so we hit Babies R Us and Walmart because 8 months was not long enough for us to get prepared - so we had to hurry because it had come upon us quickly!
March 22nd - Before noon I recieve a frantic call from Britt - AC split his head open - stitches were needed - it will leave a scar but for a boy that might just look rugged
March 23rd - as I left for work I told the boys to be careful I needed to work a full day (since I had not since Monday) So at 5:15 when my phone rang and Brittney said I've let you work a full day can you come home and take me to the hospital now I felt really bad. I called Julie to see how her doctor's appointment went and she was having contractions also so I thought for sure the race was on - but Julie's died down. I arrived home and Brittney had called RC at work to meet us at the hospital and her friend Donna to come sit with the boys while we went . We finally arrived at the hospital about 6:45 and Andrew arrived at 8:24 - RC was about 20 to 25 minutes behind us I called him and he was going to stop a couple of places and I told him he didn't have time - she was between a 5 & a 6 when we first got there.
March 24 - was all taking the boys to see their brother and mommy at the hospital. They didn't have a nap so by 7:30 p.m. when we were leaving they were pretty wired. We came home watched a couple of shows they finally crashed and we were in bed by 10
March 25 - We picked grandpa up at the airport and went straight to the hospital to introduce Grandpa to Andrew. Grandpa and I left to go do some errands and by the time we got back to the hospital it was almost time to leave. We left at about 3:30 and stopped by Target on the way home - so Andrew saw then inside of a store before he saw the inside of a house.
March 26 - We all went to church and lunch (Brittney was sick of being cooped up) and then when we got home Julie and Eric came to meet Andrew (with the boys - Seth was not impressed) Nanna and Grandpa John came to see him (RC's mom & Grandfather).
March 27 -29 RC was off with Britt and the boys - I worked and tried to figure out all the stuff Dave used to do on his own and no own else knew anything about it - like the WIP report (work in progress not WHIP but I felt Whipped when it was over)
March 30 - AC turned 4 (his party is Sunday at 3 at Chuck E Cheese) but we went to supper at Chilli's where they sang Happy Birthday to him so he was pleased.
March 31 - I got up with the stomach virus that Trace had been fighting all week. YUCK - went to work had a wedding rehearsal and then decided to do the Month in a Review. Still waiting on Julie to have her baby but I know it will happen in April (the doctors would NEVER let her go that long - she's due April 1) Wow what a month of major changes. I'm glad it is over - but for the most part it's been quite a ride!

Candy Heart?

Your Candy Heart Says "First Kiss"
You're a true romantic who brings an innocent hope to each new relationship.You see the good in every person you date, and you relish each step of falling in love.
Your ideal Valentine's Day date: a romantic dinner your sweetie cooks for you
Your flirting style: friendly and sweet
What turns you off: cynics who don't believe in romance
Why you're hot: you always keep the romance alive
What Does Your Candy Heart Say?

AN IRISH FRIENDSHIP WISH

May there always be work for your hands to do;
May your purse always hold a coin or two;
May the sun always shine on your windowpane;
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain;
May the hand of a friend always be near you;
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

.
Will update with an actual post soon I promise.

ER and again I Say ER

As you know if you read my blog at all both my daughters are pregnant and have toddlers already. Yesterday was NOT a good day for either of them.

Nyki my eldest (due in July) spent time in the ER getting fluids from an IV - she was dehydrated. Which would be easier (not great but easier) without a 20 month old in the room with you because you have NO ONE to watch her. (I'm really worried about what will happen when she goes in Labor) I'm too many states away unless we could possibly schedule the date for me to be in Texas at the right time. She's feeling much better - hopefully she'll be up to the 7 hour trip in 2 days to Amarillo to see her brother graduate Police Academy! Randy and I will be with her so it shouldn't be that hard of a trip.

Brittney my middle child (due April 7th) fell and broke her leg - yes as in "Break a Leg" but she in NOT an actress so it is not a GOOD thing. She was at the hair cut place getting both her boys a hair cut and stood up with her 2 year old in her lap to point out where they missed some in her 3 year olds hair as she sat back down the chair swivelled and she fell with T in her arms and she spun to keep from hurting either baby in womb or her 2 year old. The hair cut place said they knew it was bad by the way her leg was laying. Randy and I got there - he stayed with the boys to get the youngest a hair cut (which they charged us full price for......hello my kid got hurt because of your chair - they did volunteer to cover all medical bills but........come on wouldn't you have said NO CHARge - I WOULD HAVE!) and I took her to the ER where her hubbie met us. Exrays show 2 breaks in her tibia with a possible 3rd and 1 in her fibula down close to her ankle. The question now is will a cast fit in stirrups for delivery??????

Eunuch?

You Are 50% Boyish and 50% Girlish
You are pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch.Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But you do get along with both sexes.You reject traditional gender roles. However, you don't actively fight them.You're just you. You don't try to be what people expect you to be.
