1. When I fell in love _I was only 14 - married 4 years later & will celebrate 29 years of Marriage in September........____!
2. __I sneeze due to allergies___ when the flowers bloom and it heats up outside!
3. Oh no! The internet connection is down, _I can't play POGO...or read Blogs I guess I will have to clean house....NO I'm NOT THAT DESPERATE__.
4. __F-Troop___ is the craziest tv show ever.
5. Cheese and _Grapes____ make a great meal!
6. __I love to walk with my sweetie looking at the flowers in ___ a garden.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to __spending time with my best friend for 5 more weeks (I understand it is over when I move___, tomorrow my plans include __t-ball with the grandsons and maybe some playing in the pool___ and Sunday, I want to ___worship with my friends__!

Worst Way Possible!

Well I now know the worst way for your boss to find out your leaving.

I know all of you in blog land have known for sometime now that we are moving to Texas. My boss however has not. For many reasons I delayed telling him (all of the them selfish I'll admit)
1. Wanted to make sure the company the guys are buying was/is profitable
2. Wanted to work as long as I could to make MONEY
3. Was afraid the boss would hire someone to replace me have me train them and then let me go before I was ready.

Anyway, I told our operations manager on Thursday, telling her I was going to tell Scott on Monday, since the boss works from home on Fridays. Monday came and I had the worse stomach flu all night long so I didn't come to work.

Monday morning the boss comes into work answers his phone mid morning and is asked by a lady in Texas to confirm employment for me. She explains that she is processing a rental application for Randy and I to relocate to Texas. He stutters and stammers stating that he didn't know I was leaving. He answers her questions and then calls Ops manager into the office and asks her about it........luckily I had given her heads up just last Thursday.

We had a talk about it - he kind of laughed and said next time he would apprciate not being blinded sided by some STRANGER IN TEXAS - hehehe bad move on my part!

So for any of you out there - remember if you are using someone on an application for anything it is always better to give them a heads up! (hmmmmmm I think I remember my mother telling me that when I was younger - maybe I should have listened!)

1. The last time I lost my temper I said things I should never have said!
2. Mud slinging and word warping by political candidates is what I'm fed up with!
3. The next book I'd like to read is Getting Out of the Pit by Beth Moore.
4. Answers - game plans are what I'm looking forward to.
5. If you can't get rid of the skeleton[s] in your closet, find a friend to help you bury them!
6. The best thing I got in the mail recently was a thank you note from a 2 year old.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to coordinating a wedding rehearsal, tomorrow my plans include making the best Wedding Day for a bride as I can and Sunday, I want to recooperate!

Things I have Learned 1st Qtr 2008

Okay warning now - this may be more negative than positive...........quit reading now if you do not want to hear (read) it!

At the end of every quarter at work we have to review our progress - identify best practices and worst practices (with these we have to generate a plan to make changes and improve them) .... Anyway I was thinking it might not be a BAD idea to do it with my own life and the way I handle things.......so hang on for the list - I will not expound upon them in this post - but I plan to address them and figure out a solution or a way to adapt the good into my very being and possibly post that at a later date - for now it is just a "BRAINSTORMING" session with Me, Myself, and I (oh yeah and those funny voices that talk in my head)

• 1 -No matter how hard you try you cannot please some people
• 2 -Even when you think things went really GREAT you find out later that something was misunderstood and someone was offended
• 3 -No matter how much you schedule a trip to include everything you want to do you can not help but feel someone - something got short changed
• 4 -Texas is too far from Florida!
• 5 -I do not like the unknown - I must be in Control or know the plan
• 6 -I was not made to be a Single Person
• 7 -I get angry when people talk about my family but that it is okay for me to do it...
• 8 -Saving money is HARD
• 9 -Retail therapy is only a short term answer for being down
• 10-Darkness lurks around every corner - under every bed waiting to pounce
• 11-I need to invite people to my Pity Parties because me, myself, & I SUCK as guest
• 12-I have family & friends that love me and will listen
• 13-I tend to talk a lot when I am trying to avoid a subject
• 14-I cannot walk on eggshells without breaking the eggs and it getting messy
• 15-Just because I think that I am doing a great job keeping my mouth shut doesn't mean that my sarcastic digs are not hurting someone
• 16-I need to learn to shut my mouth more and listen more
• 17-I have missed my family in Texas more than I thought I had and can't wait to be closer to them
• 18-I am not a nice person and I do not understand why people want to be my friend
• 19-My grandkids think I'm great.......hopefully they always will
• 20-Change Scares Me to DEATH!!!!!!

Okay now to ponder and figure out away to turn negatives into positives.....hmmmmmmm
