Pet Peeve (of the week)

Okay I have a Pet Peeve - one that has been bugging me for awhile NOW! (I do not mean to offend anyone - okay now that my disclaimer is out of the way I can carry on). In this day and age of Pedophiles being EVERYWHERE! How does anyone justify having a sticker like this on the back of their van?

I see them everywhere with their Stick Daddy, Mother, Son, Daughter, Baby, & even pets. These to me advertise to every SICKO out there follow me home - you already know I have 2 daughters & 3 sons................ Well a while ago I saw one that sent me OVER THE EDGE! It looked more like this. Now not only can you follow me home but you can make my children think you know them because you can call them by NAME.

Happy Birthday - TIMES 3

First let me apologize for lumping the last 3 weeks together into one blog but......................hey at least I'm sharing it with you right!

On March 23, Andrew turned a year old. Let me say Birthday's do not impress this young man! He did not like being in the high chair to open presents and not be EATING! He thinks a high chair equals FOOD .....hmmm come to think of it so do I.

He did have a wonderful time! Got lots of new toys and some new clothes!

AC Turned 5 (oh my Gosh how did that happen?) on March 30, exactly one week after his youngest brother turned 1. (Trace did not deal with this very good at all! He felt very left out!)

AC spent part of his birthday at school having the monthly birthday party for all the kids in his class. But he was the only one with it happening on his birthday. Then he spent the afternoon & evening of his birthday with Grandpa & Grandma at Busch Gardens -He loved the sky ride, was enthralled with the RHINO RALLY but he wasn't overly thrilled with the Rapids ride but unfortunately we ran out of time before he could do the "kids" area but it will be okay because he received Season Passes for BG, Adventure Island (waterpark) & SeaWorld Orlando. AC had a big Birthday party at the park Saturday & then attended a class mates birthday party Saturday night and spent Sunday at SeaWorld with Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad & both his brothers. I think it was a GREAT Birthday Weekend for turning 5, don't you? (I didn't remember my camera so your stuck with a picture of AC from Andrew's birthday party.)

Trace turned 3 1/2 on the 30th so Grandpa & Grandma took him to Busch Gardens Saturday night - okay okay he did turn 3.5 years old but we took him to BG just cause I hated his feeling left out! He played and played in the Kids area (he's not tall enough to ride most of the rides his brother rode the day before but he LOVED the TRAIN!) Here's a Picture of him from Andrew's birthday party also.

For the REAL 3rd Birthday - Bethany Rachael Laney turned a Year old on April 6th - What a cutie she is!

Easter was great - NO CAKE because birthday cake 3 weekends in a roll has kind of burned us out! The older 2 are old enough to enjoy and be fun to watch Easter Egg hunting! Again I took NO PICTURES - yes I am turning in my Grandma card - I suck at it!

I have lots of things weighing heavy on my mind/heart but since this is a HAPPY BLOG posting all the way so I won't post about them. So hope you have an AWESOME week and I am hanging on until Camping this weekend :) OH HAPPY DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rest of Spring Break

The week Shawn & Tasha came to visit was BUSY, very busy, and it hasn't slowed down yet!

We went Camping as I stated before. Randy's neice the "J" family came to visit (staying with Brittney) bringing her little sister "L". So Monday night right after we unloaded from camping and showered and rested for about an hour we were joined with the 5 from Cocoa Beach and Britt's 5 for some fun GAME playing. We played Apples to Apples, Taboo (even if a couple of sisters had memorized the cards - LOL), and a new game Tasha had bought "Loaded Questions" that has got to be my favorite EVER! (Not recommended for children like Apples to Apples) You ask a question - players write down their answer and you have to guess who answered what. Once you have placed the card in front of the person you think said it - it never failed that reading one latter down the road you KNOW you placed the wrong one in front of someone but it's too late. Both times I've played it I loved it! Best if you have at least 5 or so players the more the merrier but know that the answers will turn ADULT very quickly.

Tuesday Randy & I worked, so the Kids (less RC who was also working) went to Lettuce Lake and running around - Unfortunately Tasha didn't get to see any gators! Wednesday Shawn & Tasha were going to Busch Gardens, the "J" family went home to their side of Florida and Britt and the boys got some rest while Randy worked so I stayed home and died of with a Migrane.

Then comes THURSDAY - Shawn, Tasha, Randy and I went to SEA WORLD. Here's some pictures!

Friday was spent at the Beach (well since it was kind of a Rainy day only about 2 or 3 hours was at the Beach) The boys flew kites, Shawn and Tasha played in the water but I only got my feet wet it was still toooooooooo collllllllddddddd for this old lady!
Saturday we went to see the Manatee's and to the Pier, finally RC was able to join all of us. Then Sunday was spent at home with the family and Laney's where we had a mini birthday party for Britt's boys so Uncle Shawn and Aunt Tasha could attend. S&T flew back home early Monday morning - like had to be at the airport at 5 a.m. (YUCK!) I'll leave you with a couple of more Pictures from the week!

Camping over Spring Break

We went camping! The Laney's party of 5, joined the young Hubbard's party of 2, and the Middle Hubbard's party of 2 plus 2 grandkids went camping (Joined by the Crosby's party of 3 who came for Saturday - and left with 2 of the Middle Hubbard's party!) The Mrs Hubbard's left on Sunday to attend an Austin's baby shower. (Okay this is pretty crazy it doesn't matter what we did other than finding out what Poison Ivy looks like - Poor AC!!!!)

We really had a GREAT time - even going on our Nature Tour - where we discovered PI and a wonderful open air chapel where the kids put on a performance (well that's what they called it!)

Travel hmmm not so bad?

With all the travel I've done in the past year I haven't found much that makes travel without Randy tolerable. I can list less than 10 things that make it good. (None that make it worth time away from my Baby!) However I found 1 thing this trip that made it goooooooodddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Well actually more than that since I got to see Nyki, Jeremy, Rylee & Jakob)

Here it is my top 10 list.

10. blank

9. Something to blog about?

8. New Malls (this would move up {down} on the list if it weren't for the impact it has on our budget)

7. Frequent flyer points (so Randy and I can travel together)

6. Coloring more states on our "Places we've been" Map

5. Historical sites

4. Introduction to new foods

3. Seeing Friends from work and making NEW ONES!

2. Seeing Family (This year Nyki, Jeremy, and family - 3 weekends :), Shawn & Tasha, My parents, Nephew, his wife & sone, Randy's mom, sister, 2 brothers, & sister-in-law.

THE 1 Thing this trip is this:

Yes I enjoyed this tub!!!!!!! Yes it would have been more fun with RANDY here - never mind erase that image from your mind - (great now my children need therapy again!!!!! Does the damage I inflict never stop) heheheheheh
