I was informed by one reader that pictures don't count as updates and then another reader stated that Friday Fill In's alone do not count as updates. I have worreid people in the past when I post anything shall we say DARK (as in not positive - as in the darkness controls my life......Depression that is such a gross word) So I guess I need to dig deep down and post a positive - hey guess what the last few days it isn't as DEEP as it was last week so :) that is a good thing!
I have exactly 11 days of work left (not counting weekends)........that is just weird after 6 1/2 years here the thought of not being here is WEIRD!!!!! I was hoping I could transfer to the Dallas office but it is not looking like that is an option in any form. In fact they have announced that they are not even going to replace me here due to our region (which includes Dallas) not meeting their numbers a single month this year. But then again God is incontrol and could at any time step in and say THIS IS MY PLAN.... I do know that he has the perfect job for me and I am going to be happiest working where he wants me.
I have 8 or 9 days until I see my husband again....that just seems CRAZY - I have not seen him since Easter Morning and believe me that is a LONG LONG way tooooooooo Long of a time!
I have 15 more days to say "I live in Florida" having been here for over 10 years I had something happen yesterday that has NEVER happened to me before........I'm driving down the Veterans Toll Road, I am doing 68 mph (unless you are a police officer reading this then I was only doing the 60 mph posted - like all the other cars on the road) I have gone through the last toll booth and have come around a curve for the last straight way until I turn onto Dale Mabry. There is a Pickup in front of a small car that is directly in front of me........ I see something in the road but only a quick glance - then I see the Pick up go onto the shoulder and slow down. The little car in front of me just keeps going - like there is nothing there - she swerves to the right to go in the other lane and slows down rapidly. I go onto the shoulder and slow to about 30 mph. Small car pulls back from Right lane onto the shoulder in front of me that is when I see it.........there is an Aligator with his nose almost to the striped line and his tail bent but barely missing the solid white line seperating the shoulder from the lane......which means almost 12' probably.....it was AWESOME!
I also had to wait for a family of ducks to cross the street on the block before my house and then for a bird to get out of my drive to pull in.......it was like being in a wild life refuge - I will miss that but cannot wait to get back into the land of "Howdy Mam" and "Y'all" hehehe
