an "A" Posting

Affair: I'm having an affair - I know I'm shocked also! I have met a MAN at the airport for the last 3 Friday nights (late - after 11 p.m.) and have slept with him. But I figure it's okay since it has been my Husband all 3 nights. (He came in from Chicago 2 weeks in a roll and then me from Boston last week)

Alarm: I was startled awake the first night in Boston at 4 a.m. by a fire alarm. I got up got dressed grabbed my purse and other items I wouldn't want to lose and headed downstairs. Where when I met some co-workers I was chastised for taking time to dress and grab the few things I had. (My boss' boss came down after me with everything he had with him - having experienced losing everything with him at a hotel previously due to fire). The alarm was finally cleared and we could return up stairs to our rooms for about 1 more hour of sleep YUK!

Awake: I have not spent so much time awake as I have in the last 3 weeks! I do not sleep well while Randy is gone and then to follow his two trips with one of my own - I've operated on very little sleep - but I have discovered the Court TV has some rocking shows on in middle of the night about true crime and solving old cases. I'm hoping some time soon to get caught up on sleep - last night I actually slept ALL NIGHT LONG!

Advice: I was talking with my mom and mentioned that I had so much sinus pressure that I thought my eyes were going to bug out of my head. She suggested Mucinex DM for relief (goggling to confirm spelling I found out it is different from Musinex - WAY DIFFERENT) Anyway - I tried it and it was some great ADVICE! I felt so much better in Boston & since I have been home!

Antartica: I have discoverd what Antartica must feel like - last Friday when I got up and was leaving for my training class it was 1 degree (that is NOT a typo) with a wind chill of -18. I have no desire to live in the North! I know why Snow Birds come here to Florida for the winter - I have NEVER BEEN so cold in my life!!!!!!!!

Adored: I felt so adored by my loving husbands post. I'm so glad he is mine (eat your heart out girls) I came home to a vacummed house - a couple of loads of laundry being done (leaving the ones he knew I would have stuff to add to when I got home) and best of all - He met me at the airport was there waiting on me when we got in 20 minutes early and had brought me a propel knowing I always come in thirsty. HE LOVES ME SO MUCH! He even went to a Bill Gaither concert with me (he hates that kind of music) and set by me and smiled when I smiled and made sure I had a good time! He's the best and he adores me as much as I adore him!

Apology: I posted a few weeks back about how hurt I was. Well in voicing my hurt I hurt others and that was not my intention at ALL. However, I must stand by my feelings that this is my blog and I should be able to say what I feel (within reason) on/in it. However, as my mother has always told me MY RIGHTS end where someone else's begin, and not everyone is comfortable with having family laundry out for everyone to see. (So I guess in stead of blogging I need to figure out how I can come up with the $$ to see a councelor because I am killing myself leaving it bottle up inside me! However, I do not want anyone else hurt by my venting)

Randy Here Again

If you couldn’t tell, TJ is out of town, she’s made her way from Semi-Sunny Florida to Cold, Damp, Snowy Boston. I miss her a lot, but she comes home Friday.

Most of the time I leave the posting to Twila, she’s much more interesting than me and a better writer (speller too). Anyway, I just thought I would drop a line in here to let everybody know she’s still around.

I was talking with a friend of mine from Boston (who is in Tampa today) about my family. He couldn’t believe that at 46 I’m a grandfather of 5. Yeah we started young and I’m sure if you were to ask our kids, they would say we needed to learn a lot about parenting before we had kids, but we had fun raising them. There is a lot to be said about having time alone before the kids arrive, but when you have kids at 18 and 19, you get the privilege of growing up with them. I think we may have been better suited to keep up with them than the parents that wait until they are in their late 20’s or 30’s. Just a hunch. We were friends with our kids, but we never tried to be their best friends like some parents. They still seem to like us (even when we don’t have money “LOL”). Now we have 3 great kids, 2 great son in laws, 1 great daughter in law and 5 of the best Grandkids in the World!!!

AC came over and spent Sunday with me, TJ had already left so it was just him and me. He wanted pizza so I stopped at the store and bought a frozen one, call me cheap, but the kid just doesn’t eat a lot. Well, he ate 3 pieces and then an ice cream. After he was done with lunch and his show, we went out and rode our bikes. He’s still on training wheels, but he rode a mile or so. Yes as a XC bike rider (see post about broken bones), I’m proud. I can’t wait until he’s big enough to go out with RC (his dad) and me. Oh, I didn’t have to clean his room (computer room has all of their toys in it), what little he got out, he put up!!!

Just because I only talked about AC, don’t think I don’t love the rest of them, they just didn’t spend the day with me.

Back to my sorta point, Now that we are young Grandparents, we have that time that most couples get at the first of their marriage. I have to say, I cherish it, I can’t think of anyone I would rather spend my time with. Now we don’t follow all the rules that “Marriage Experts” give, we watch TV in the evenings sometimes without talking, we spend time on the computers without talking, but we find that just being together is enough sometimes. For all of you out there in Blog land, stay friends with your mate, after 27 years I have no better friend than mine!

Enough of my rambling,
Randy

So I don't have it THAT bad!

I've said before that Randy comes in from a trip and checks on his bike before kissing me. I am joking when I say that. I do get a kiss and a hug first.

Well I have to say at least this hasn't happened - well at least it hasn't yet! But then again we have a tent big enough for the both of us women in his life. Me and the bike.

Wow I must be really slow - I just noticed that when you go in to make a post it tells you how many you have done. (I've often wondered how people kept track - duh!)

Wanted to give a Shout Out of Thanks to my wonderful Daughter-in-Law who keeps my Blog looking all spiffy! T -I love the new background - THANKS! But more importantly I love you! Thanks for being You and making my Son Happy, but especially for loving me and putting up with my mood swings. Your the BEST!

I'm DONE! FINISHED!

Okay Guys I'm hurt. Truly knee jerk - cry my eyes out - hurt. Why you ask (man am I glad you asked that and are you going to be sorry you asked that!)

The post below has been edited to include the information I am upset about and to remove all the extra hurts I've been saving for a while. (If you would like to see the whole unabridged posting please send me an email - if not who could blame you?) I realize that some of the comments may no longer make sense but ....I should not have used blogger as a weapon to hurt the innocent or even the guilty 2 hurts does not cancel each other out. So without further ado here is my beef!

I'm talking to my daughter from Dallas area and she mentions at the end of our phone conversation that Bubba went back to school today. I said "School just now started back? and she says no - since he got hurt. "Li'l Justin was hurt??????????? When?" She said last week (Thursday she thinks) he wrecked his 4 wheeler and broke his pelvic. He couldn't even walk until Saturday or Sunday and even now it's only with the help of a walker. HELLO, My family am I such a cold hearted person that - Y'ALL thought I wouldn't care? I LOVE MY GREAT NEPHEWS - I WANT TO HEAR ALL ABOUT THEM - ESPECIALLY IF ONE GETS HURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not like I didn't talk to my mom tonight, I know I called because I was stressed and sick at heart and just needed to hear some advice, not a solution or begging for money but to just have someone to listen especially since Randy is out of town- but I'm think she still could have interrupted me long enough and said by the way have you heard that JJ got hurt last week? Better yet someone could have called me when it happened just to keep me informed - I ask is this too much to expect from my family? I thought not!
